1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Zendinit you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use Zendinit
You must be at least [MINIMUM_AGE] years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your password secure.
3. How the service works
Zendinit is a platform that connects:
- Senders: people requesting products to be brought from another country.
- Travelers: people offering to transport those products during their own trip.
Zendinit does not buy or sell products. We act as a technology intermediary and as escrow custodian for payment until delivery is confirmed.
4. Payments, fees, and refunds
- Charging the sender: when an offer is accepted, the sender is charged for the product price + traveler tip + service fee. The charge is held in escrow until delivery is confirmed.
- Payout to the traveler: released after the sender confirms delivery (or automatically after a defined period if no dispute is opened).
- Service fee: Zendinit charges a fee per successful transaction. The exact amount is shown before payment is confirmed.
- Refunds: see section 6.
Payment processors (Stripe / PayPal) have their own terms that also apply.
5. Prohibited items
You may not request or transport:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives.
- Products derived from endangered species.
- Items that infringe intellectual property rights.
- Items banned or restricted by the law of any country involved (origin, destination, transit) or by customs regulations.
The traveler is responsible for complying with the customs regulations of the countries involved. Zendinit may suspend accounts that violate this section.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- Sender cancels before accepting an offer: at no cost. Any payment authorization is released.
- Sender cancels after accepting an offer: once an offer is accepted, only the traveler can initiate cancellation. The sender must contact the traveler.
- Traveler cancels before purchasing the product: the sender receives a full refund. The traveler's rating is not affected.
- Traveler cancels after purchasing the product: must be coordinated with the sender. If the dispute is not resolved, Zendinit may mediate.
7. User conduct
You may not:
- Impersonate another person.
- Arrange payments outside the platform to avoid fees (this exposes you to fraud and forces us to suspend your account).
- Send spam, abusive, or illegal messages.
- Attempt to compromise the platform's security.
8. Reviews and disputes
After each completed transaction, both parties can leave a review. Reviews are public. In case of dispute, you can open one from the app; Zendinit may mediate but does not guarantee a specific outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
Zendinit is a platform. We are not responsible for the quality, authenticity, legality, or condition of the products transported, nor for the conduct of senders or travelers outside the platform. The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount of service fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Zendinit harmless against any third-party claim arising from your use of the service, including violations of these Terms, breaches of law, or harm to third parties.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. Zendinit may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity. Obligations that by their nature survive termination (pending payments, indemnification, liability limitations) will remain in effect.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION]. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of [GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION], without prejudice to consumer protection rights granted to you by local law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms. When changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after the effective date, you accept the modified Terms.
